ABOUT Doon Institute of Medical Sciences

DIMS acts as the hub for the students, faculty staff of medical sciences and agricultural science. It serves the Medical and Agricultural community by providing an extensive collection of information sources to support the faculty of medicine, agricultural research, teaching, and patients care missions. Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing
(4 Years )

  • 10 + 2 CLASS PASSED WITH SCIENCE PCB (PHYSICS CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY) & ENGLISH CORE/ENGLISH ELECTIVE WITH AGGREGAITE OF 45% MARKS FROM RECOGNIZED BOARD UNDER AISSCE/CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE OR OTHER EQUIVALENT BOARD.
  • Candidate shall be Medically fit.
  • Minimum age at the time of admission shall be 17 years.

M.Sc Nursing
(2 Years )

  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Candidate shall be Medically fit.

GNM
( 3 YEARS )

  • 10+2 WITH ENGLISH & MUST HAVE OBTAINED A MINIMUM OF 40% AT THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION AND ENGLISH INDIVIDUALLY FOR ANY RECOGNIZED BOARD.
  • Candidate shall be Medically fit.

Post Basic Nursing
( 2 YEARS )

  • OBTAINED A CERTIFICATE IN GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY (GNM) & REGISTERED AS R.N.R.M WITH THE STATE NURSES REGISTRATION COUNCIL
  • Candidate shall be Medically fit.

100% Scholarship

  • 96% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/non written subjects) in CBSE or ICSE Board of Class XII.

    50% Scholarship

  • 90% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/non written subjects) in CBSE or ICSE Board of Class XII.

    25% Scholarship

  • 85% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/non written subjects) in CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII.

    15% Scholarship

  • 75% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/ non written subjects) in CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII.

    Additional Scholarishp

  • For continuation of 25%/50%/100% scholarship, student must top the university exam with 80% and above in the annual examination without back in any subject, and 75% attendance aggregate in each semester. Scholarship upto Rs. 55,000/- per sem
  • Additional 10% of Tuition fee in all semesters for female candidate.
